Disneyland 2014!

Disneyland 2014!

My husband had to attend the PMA in Anaheim this October, so we deiced to take our two, sweet little kiddos to Disneyland!! I know it has taken me over a month to post this up– but luckily I wrote down our memories and experiences day by day as we were there, so I haven’t forgotten! Right now Braden and Gemma are the PERFECT age for disney– Gemma is 4, and is really into the princesses and disney characters, and Braden is 5, and is tall enough to go on almost every ride in the park! I thought I would write up a quick post for the memories, and also add some tips for those who are excited to take their young kiddos to disneyland too.

“Why Iceland?” Sep 2014 trip

WHY ICELAND?

Earlier this year when my Mum announced she would be getting married in England in the summertime, we immediately started looking for flights to take our young little family over there. The cheapest rates we could find were with Icelandair– and when we discovered we could have a “free” stop over in Iceland for up to a week, we started looking into all the fun things we could do and see there, combined into our trip to see the family. Until this point, we hadn’t really considered Iceland as one of our top travel destinations– besides the lure to see the northern lights, which is on our “bucket list,” But after seeing SO many beautiful photos, and learning so much about the country, we became pretty excited and determined to go!

Home to ENGLAND! 2014

Home to ENGLAND! 2014

Six months ago my Mum invited us all to her wedding in England in mid-July. When I looked at ticket prices for the peak season, I wondered how we would take the whole family over, and “um-ed and ah-ed” over what I was going to do. Then a couple of weeks ago, I was ordering her gift online, and when I wrote in the card: “I am so sorry we couldn’t be there” I realized that no excuse was good enough. This was my MUM, and it would make her happy, and this would be something I would always regret missing out on. I couldn’t take the whole family this time but decided that I, at least, needed to be there, so I booked my ticket with just a couple of days notice.

APRIL 2014

APRIL 2014

This time one year ago I started blogging personal posts for the first time, and have been doing a pretty good job at keeping up {besides the last four months, which have somehow evaded me!} This month I decided to get back on track. Those of you who know me, know that I take a lot of pictures… but if I don’t “document” our memories as they happen, I forget them so fast! I thought April was a really “slow” month, until I looked back through my photos, and realized we actually did quite a few fun things! I do feel bad for cramming them, yet again, into one giant post though!
