Betsy & David Kemp Family Photoshoot

A little while ago Betsy asked if I would take her family photos and we must have re-scheduled at least five or six times before we were finally able to take them because the CRAZY Mattawa wind would just not die-down! Finally we got our perfect evening, and I think it was well worth the wait, because the lighting was gorgeous and the photo-shoot was so much fun! I LOVE the outfits she chose to dress her sweet little family in — those are my kind of colors, so I would have dressed my family in the exact same way. Her sweet little kiddos, Ella, Tanner and baby sophie were SO well behaved, and they brought along “Grandma” to make them smile and laugh behind the camera (which was SO helpful!) At one point we took a wrong turn and ended up hiking up a really steep part of the canyon, and instead of complaining, the kids kept saying: “this is awesome Sarah. This is awesome Sarah!” They came from tricities where they live, and were just having SO much fun exploring the “country” and I think that showed through in the photos. They picked me about 20 flowers, which was SUPER sweet (and hard to hold whilst taking photos!) Haha. The kids were adorable, David was SO kind and patient, and betsy was just beautiful and super sweet… so yet again, I just feel as if I lucked out with dream clients! Here are some of my favorite photos from their shoot:
